Mexican podcaster and journalist specializing in non-fiction audio storytelling.
She focuses on production and production supervision of investigative projects. She has developed English, Spanish and bilingual content. Since 2016, she has built extensive experience in chatcasts and narrative podcast production.
In 2025, her documentary "HUMO: Murder and Silence in El Salvador" received an Ambie Award in the US, a Premio Gabo in Colombia, and a Premio Ondas in Spain.
Throughout her career, Fernanda has showcased and perfected her ability to discover and craft compelling stories, with an appealing and distinctive storytelling style. Her non-fiction work has also earned nominations for the Produ Awards, the Signal Awards and the Rose D'Or Awards.
Previously, she has worked with Animal Político, Milenio Diario, and W Radio, among others. She served as Senior Non Fiction Producer at Sonoro Media for five years, and has also collabed with KJZZ Radio as a researcher and with Neon Hum as a Sensitivity Reader.
